Summer School on Migration and Integration 1-6 September 2013 in the Czech Republic

The Summer School on Migration and Integration will take place again in 2013 in cooperation with the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. The dates of the Summer School will be from Sunday to Friday 1-6 September 2013.

Please find attached the invitation, program and information for the participants.

The participants fee for this year´s Summer School was set to be 2 300 CZK which is a price for 5 nights of accommodation at the students´ dormitory, 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches and a small fee for the program organization. For those participants from the Czech Republic who will not be in need of accommodation, the price is set to be 620 CZK.

THE INVITATION LETTERS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN THE BEGINNING OF THE AUGUST. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET AND YOU ARE DULY REGISTERED, PLEASE KINDLY WRITE AN EMAIL TO THE ORGANIZERS, THANK YOU!

Please, kindly ready the instructions for participants before the registration. If you have special individual queries, please contact the organizers first.

The US expert shall be Mr. S. Romi Mukherjee who teaches at Sciences Po-Paris. Further distinguished lecturers shall be Mr. Dusan Drbohlav from the Charles University Prague, Mr. Michal Vašečka from Masaryk University in Brno, Mrs. Petra Ezzeddine from Charles University in Prague, Mr. Dmytro Vikhrov from CERGE etc. The praxis of EU policies shall be presented by invited guests from Austria (Municipality of Vienna department MA 17 for integration and diversity) and Portugal (ACIDI - High Commissioner for Immigration and Intercultural Dialogue Portugal).

The Summer School is designed for Czech students, Czech young professionals from NGOs, state and local administration etc., and for a limited number of international students and young professionals.
